This Privacy Policy describes how Heritage Associates LLC ("Heritage Associates," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit heritage.associates or any related subdomain, request a quote, or apply for insurance coverage through us or through an agency in our distribution network (collectively, the "Sites").

1. WHO WE ARE

Heritage Associates LLC is a Texas-domiciled insurance agency operating in states where the agency and its producers are properly licensed. We offer final expense, burial, and whole life insurance products underwritten by Lincoln Heritage Life Insurance Company and other carriers. Tejas Life LLC is an affiliated insurance agency whose licensed agents respond to consumer inquiries and follow up on Heritage Associates LLC's behalf. Tejas Life LLC also provides technology hosting and back-office servicing support for our business, as described in Section 4 below.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Identity and Contact Information: name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and date of birth.
• Insurance Application Information: health history, beneficiary information, coverage selections, and other information you provide in connection with a quote or application. This information may constitute "nonpublic personal information" under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act ("GLBA").
• Payment Information: billing address and payment or banking details provided to pay for a policy.
• Call and Communications Data: recordings, transcripts, or AI-generated summaries of calls, texts, and emails with our agents, for quality assurance, training, and servicing purposes.
• Device and Usage Information: IP address, browser type, cookies, and similar data collected automatically when you visit our Sites.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to: provide insurance quotes and process applications; underwrite, issue, and service policies; communicate with you about your application, policy, or account; screen for fraud; improve our Sites and services; and, where consistent with your preferences, provide information about our products and services. Heritage Associates LLC or licensed agents with affiliated agency Tejas Life LLC may communicate with you for these purposes. We do not use your information for purposes unrelated to our insurance business without your consent.

If you enter your email address and continue but do not finish the quote process, we may retain that email address to save your progress and follow up about the coverage request you started.

We use site and customer-management systems operated for us to measure visits and funnel progress. Measurement data may include page and advertising-campaign context, domain-specific identifiers, IP address, browser information, and normalized hashed email address or phone number. When your choices permit it, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta may receive approved measurement events and matching identifiers. We do not send birth date, health, coverage, beneficiary, banking, or other insurance-application answers to those advertising and analytics providers.

4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We share information only as described below. We do not sell your personal information to unrelated third parties for their own independent use.

• Insurance Carriers: we share application and underwriting information with the insurance carrier(s) you apply to, as necessary to obtain quotes, underwrite, and service your policy.
• Affiliated Agency and Licensed Agents: we may share identity, contact, inquiry, quote, and application information with Tejas Life LLC and its licensed insurance agents. They use this information to respond to your inquiry on Heritage Associates LLC's behalf, evaluate eligibility, explain final expense life insurance coverage options, assist with applications, and service resulting business. Tejas Life LLC is not authorized to use Heritage Associates lead information for unrelated independent marketing unless you separately consent.
• Service Providers: we share information with vendors that host, process, and service information on our behalf. These providers process information on our instructions and under written agreements that limit use to providing services for our insurance business and require appropriate safeguards. They are not authorized to use your information for their own independent purposes or to sell it to others.
• Other Vendors: we use vendors for functions such as analytics, advertising measurement, payment processing, and communications, including Google Analytics and Meta when your privacy choices permit. • Legal and Regulatory: we may disclose information to comply with applicable law, respond to legal process, or protect our rights, and as otherwise required by our insurance regulators.

5. NONPUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION (GLBA)

As a licensed insurance agency, we are subject to GLBA and applicable Texas Insurance Code privacy provisions governing nonpublic personal information ("NPI"). We do not disclose NPI to nonaffiliated third parties except as permitted by law, including disclosures to process your application or service your policy, disclosures to our service providers under confidentiality agreements as described in Section 4, and disclosures required by law or regulatory authority.

6. TRACKING AND PRIVACY CHOICES

We do not alter our Sites' data collection and use practices when we receive a Do Not Track signal. We do honor Global Privacy Control as an opt-out of targeted advertising and disable advertising tags for that browser. Sanitized first-party analytics remains separately controlled, and you may change both settings at any time through the Privacy choices control in the footer.

7. COMMUNICATION CHOICES

Where required by law, we obtain your consent before sending marketing texts or making certain marketing calls. You may revoke your consent at any time by replying STOP to a text message, asking a caller to place you on our Do Not Call list, or contacting us using the information in Section 12. Marketing consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Revoking marketing consent does not prevent communications needed to complete or service a transaction you requested, where permitted by law.

8. YOUR PRIVACY REQUESTS

Subject to applicable law and insurance record-retention requirements, you may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we maintain about you, or to opt out of certain advertising uses. We will process requests as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity before completing a request. To submit a request, contact us using the information in Section 12.

9. CALL RECORDING

Calls may be recorded, transcribed, and summarized using AI-assisted tools for quality assurance, training, compliance, and servicing purposes. Where required by law, we provide notice and obtain consent before recording.

10. DATA SECURITY

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information consistent with applicable federal and state insurance privacy and information-security requirements, and we require our service providers to maintain appropriate safeguards.

11. DATA RETENTION; MINORS; CHANGES

We retain application and policy information for as long as needed to service your policy and to meet our legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations. Our Sites are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law; the "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
